    We have chosen never to live alone. A Missionary of Africa always lives in community. Preaching about brotherly love is done primarily by the example of community life, bringing together brothers and priests from different backgrounds, cultures, ages and sensitivities.

    Founded in 1868 at Algiers by the His Grace Charles Lavigerie, at that time Archbishop of Algiers and future Cardinal, the Missionaries of Africa or White Fathers are an institute essentially directed towards the mission ad extra.
